We have some fantastic news! Work is now underway to redesign your much-loved Factory Theatre and installation of new seating will happen in August 2013. This is an incredible moment that marks a new phase in the evolution of your theatre.
We will be:
• Fitting comfortable seats
• Improving sightlines
• Increasing capacity
Whilst retaining:
• Intimacy
• Character
• Flexibility
As a registered charity, the theatre relies on the support of a great many individuals and organisations to keep the doors open. We are proud that only 6% of our annual income comes from the public purse, but for this project we are delighted that Arts Council England is supporting 44% of the total cost. Bristol City Council has agreed to fund a further 4%. We are looking for your support to raise the remaining money - £150,000 by 01 August 2013.
