Sponsorship

The Tobacco Factory Theatre is housed in the old Wills’ Tobacco Factory, an iconic redbrick building at the intersection of two important Bristol thoroughfares. The theatre has been running since 2002 and has become firmly established as a favourite venue for a diverse and vibrant audience, garnering widespread critical acclaim and developing national name recognition.

Within the highly distinctive and flexible Tobacco Factory Theatre we produce and present a diverse mix of the highest quality performing arts, developing new and existing audiences and encouraging participation and appreciation of the arts by the local community in Bristol as well as a wider regional audience. We produce or host theatre, puppetry, comedy, opera, family shows, storytelling and music and we are steadily expanding our educational programme with a host of workshops, Q&A’s, lectures and seminars. We have performances around 320 days every year and play to an audience of approximately 60,000.

OUR SUPPORTERS

We are a charity funded as a Key Arts Partner by Bristol city council and funded by the Arts Council. We have two hundred – and growing – fans (private individuals that support us financially and practically) and we would like to extend and develop our relationships with the business community.
