How You Can Help

Become a Fan!

I support the Tobacco Factory Theatre because I want to keep it going. The quality of the shows you put on cannot be found anywhere else; I really feel it is reaching new heights.

Become a volunteer!

We have a large and enthusiastic cohort of volunteers who help out with many aspects of the Theatre’s day-to-day operations, from distributing flyers and posters to selling icecream, from stuffing envelopes to handing out tickets on the Box Office. We hold regular get-togethers for our volunteers and they also get the chance to see shows for free. P.S. Did you know that Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory also runs a Friend scheme?

SATTF needs no introduction; its yearly season of two Shakespeare plays is a gem in our programming crown. Andrew Hilton’s direction and artistic vision are celebrated across the country and we are proud to have played an integral part in the company’s journey. However, SATTF is still woefully under funded and in constant need of private help. By joining the SATTF Friend scheme (as well as being a Factory Fan) you would help to ensure that this wonderful company continues to play at the Tobacco Factory Theatre, and that we, in turn, continue to have great classical theatre at our fingertips.
If you would like to join the SATTF Friend scheme, please send a cheque made payable to “SATTF” for £30 to: Sophie Jerrold, SATTF, The Tobacco Factory, Raleigh Road, Bristol BS3 1TF or email (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

The Tobacco Factory is on its way to becoming the most important theatre in Bristol.
