Prototype

Theatre Bristol in association with Tobacco Factory Theatre

A fast-paced, informal event of up to six mini shows made by directors, writers, performers, devisers, puppeteers and musicians from Bristol and further afield who want to test their ideas out before they make full-length work. The shows are in the early stages of development: some are very funny, some are strange, some are highly polished and some are rather more spontaneous, but there is always something a bit special that stays with you. Everyone is welcome – either to sit back and enjoy the shows only or to also join the artist at a question and answer session at the end of the night where we discuss what worked and what didn’t. Over a glass of wine of course.
