ACT before you think: a short course in Meisner

This short course is 100% practical. It takes you step by step through Meisner’s core exercise and text analysis.
Sandford Meisner was one of the original members of the Group Theatre along with Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, and Harold Clurman. Among his students were: Robert Duvall, Arthur Miller, David Mamet, Jon Voight, Diane Keaton, Lee Grant, Gregory Peck, Grace Kelly, Sydney Pollack and Steve McQueen.

The course will be led by Jack Price. Jack is a writer/director and teacher, he studied Meisner with Scott Williams at the Impulse Company in London. Scott studied with Sandford Meisner in New York.

Jack Price has written and directed for the BBC and Channel Four as well as directing film extensively for Ridley Scott Associates. His most recent film Indigo premiered at the 60th Berlin Film Festival 2010.
