After the runaway success of Cinderella: A Fairy Tale, the Tobacco Factory Theatre brings you another delightful interpretation of a Brothers Grimm story brought to festive life through enchanting storytelling, multiple languages and live music.

In the middle of a snow-covered forest sits a tiny cottage unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Its roof is made of gingerbread, the walls are made of chocolate cake, the door is made of boiled sweets and the windows of clear sugar glaze, but what’s inside? This Christmas, follow Hansel and Gretel into the frozen forest… and find out.

Especially created for the Factory Theatre/Bristol audiences, the Tobacco Factory Theatre and International award-winning theatre company New International Encounter (NIE) join forces to bring you an enchanting show that will transform the Factory into a magical winter woodland. Adapting the classic fairytale with a blend of live music, clowning and storytelling, this is a beautiful new Christmas show for all the family to enjoy.
