For Theatre Makers

At the Tobacco Factory we host visiting shows from some of the best and most exciting companies and artists working today but we also produce, co-produce and tour our own work.  In addition, we assist in the production of work by other companies both in this theatre and elsewhere and we have been consciously growing new routes through which we help companies and artists in the development of both work and their own skills.  Our assistance ranges from a simple discussion of an idea to running a skills workshop; from the use of performance space to co-marketing efforts. If you want to know more about production, development and learning activities use the links below.

There isn’t a formal route to bringing an independent show to the Tobacco Factory but a first step is to e-mail the director, Ali Robertson (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) with information.  We do get overwhelmed with correspondence sometimes but we do our best to give every application due consideration.
