Yalla Yalla Stellar Reviews
Award-winning Bristol based PanGottic Circus-Theatre have returned to The Brewery this week to present their exciting new show Yalla Yalla, before heading over to Europe for another summer on the Festival circuit. This is PanGottic’s second full length project after their critically acclaimed debut show Full Twist which picked up an award at the French Clown Festival, Festival du Nez Rouge, and toured nationally and internationally.
The reviews for this extremely talented young company are already pouring in…
‘It’s beautifully orchestrated, with a constant oscillation between tension and relaxation and an ongoing series of crisp visual jokes….The physical virtuosity on view is always backed up with something else – comedy, narrative, emotion: rarely is a ball tossed in the air, however adeptly, just for the sake of it. A show full of new, surprising and entrancing ways for three people to be on stage together, making extraordinary visual and aural sculptures. Terrific.’ Steve Wright, Venue
‘If you are looking for something you have never seen before, go and see Yalla Yalla.
This unique production is a tantalising mix of circus tricks, pantomime antics, game show fun and physical comedy –oh, and extraordinary live music.
Full of colour, wit and energy the performers successfully transformed a sceptical and glum looking audience into a giggling, interactive group of spectators who were very much part of the show.’
This is Bristol
‘The pace of Yalla Yalla never ceased. One minute, hats were being thrown through the air, the next it was yellow and red balls, and then of course those orange hoops.
Go see Yalla Yalla. It is a brilliant evening’s entertainment with not one single word spoken from an engaging trio of performers who will surely go far’.
