Idiot Child’s new show, You’re not doing it right, is a story about trying, and failing, to get life right. Combining 5ft water tanks, animation, rum cocktails, and live fish this show takes you into the beautiful and peculiar world of twins Peter and Finnegan. They’ve lived on The Island their whole lives so there is a lot to tell you. And they’ve been waiting for you to arrive for years so they can’t wait to meet you all.
A bleak, comic tale for anyone who has ever felt like they’re not doing it right.
Anna Harpin & Jimmy Whiteaker are joint artistic directors of IDIOT CHILD, a new theatre company making playful and peculiar work in the South West. Drawing on autobiography and memory, the company devise bleak, comic tales that emerge from the facts, objects, and oddities of their own lives.
