The Adventures of Pinocchio is continuing to pick up some lovely reviews. We’re still waiting on the Guardian’s verdict, but in a recent conversation with reviewer Elisabeth Mahoney, our Marketing Department was told that she “absolutely loved it” and had given it “lots and lots of stars”.

Meanwhile, Venue Magazine loved “the rich, otherworldly atmosphere and [...] full set of fine comic performances”, concluding that the show is “worthy (and refreshingly different) festive entertainment”.
Bristol Evening Post gave the show a cracking 9/10, with their reviewer describing it as “a spellbinding family treat this Christmas, which will delight audiences young and old”. Bristol’s own Suit Yourself Magazine also had some very nice things to say, as did The Stage and Primary Times, whose reviewersaid that the"light-hearted and imaginative plot makes this a refreshing take on a classic”.

Keep your eyes peeled for more reviews as they come in…

The Elves & the Shoemakers is going down a treat with the 3+ audiences and you can see some really lovely pics on the show page now.
Chopsy Baby thought it was a “lovely introduction to theatre for children… perfectly pitched and timed” and Guide2Bristol described it as “colourful, energetic and full of laughs”. And her fellow reviewer - aged 4 ½ - declared it to be “brilliant”.
There are only a few tickets left for Elves... so get your skates on if you want to come and join the fun!

Also playing down at the Brewery this Christmas is I Can’t Believe My Mind, a brand new show from local magician Peter Clifford, which combines illusion, trickery and goodnatured banter to excellent effect. And it’s going down well with the critics, too. Bristol Culture‘s reviewer was suitably bamboozled, writing “the evening’s denouement pieced together everything that had gone before to leave open mouths and looks of pure bewilderment as Clifford transformed what initially seemed like a mistake into a stunning conclusion to this hugely enjoyable show.” See pics of Peter in action on the show page now!

We look forward to seeing you here this Christmas.
