Our brand new 48 page bumper edition Aug - Dec 11 season brochures have been hitting the doorsteps of houses around the UK this morning with a season we are very excited about here at the Factory. We’ve got puppetry, opera, comedy, family shows, Shakespeare, a rather big celeb and tonnes more.
Director Ali Robertson introduces the season:
I’m delighted to present what I think is a really strong Autumn line-up. I’m thrilled that we’re kicking off with the amazing Bristol Festival of Puppetry followed by fascinating one-man shows including Mark Thomas’ extraordinary and hilarious account of walking the Israel / Palestine border and a new play by Tony Staveacre that Les Dennis has been quietly working on for years. Later in the season two of the most important theatre companies we have had at the theatre recently are returning: Filter with A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Northern Broadsides with We are Three Sisters and we welcome Eclipse for the first time with One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show. No-one who saw Slightly Fat Features’s variety show here last year will want to miss their brand new show in October and I’m sure that if you have ever seen Opera Project you will want to book ahead for La bohème.
The Brewery programme includes four world premieres from some of the most exciting up and coming talent in the region and I’m also thrilled that we have a hugely extended portfolio of classes, workshops, talkbacks and other opportunities to get close to the action.
So have a peruse around the website, have a look at the brochure online
here and if you prefer to sit in your comfy chair with a cuppa and take in the season at your leisure, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with your name and address and we’ll pop one in the post (please note that the post man can’t carry all 14,000 brochures at once so yours may arrive sometime later this week, if you haven’t got it already).
