How to book tickets

Box Office

You can book tickets for performances at the Tobacco Factory Theatre (and other venues for which we act as Box Office, including the Hen & Chicken) online here or by clicking the “book online” button on a show’s listing page.  Please do be aware that a booking fee of £2.50 per transaction applies to all online sales.

You can also book tickets in advance for any performance at the Tobacco Factory Theatre by calling the Box Office on 0117 9020344 or coming into the Box Office in person.

PHONE WAITING TIME
Please note that sometimes our Box Office can be very busy. Waiting times on the phone lines should be no more than 10 minutes. If your call is not picked up by then, please try again another time or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Please include a daytime telephone number for all booking methods. Cheques should be made payable to Tobacco Factory Arts Trust.

Box Office Hours

Opening Hours 10am - 6.30pm Monday-Saturday (exc. Public holidays*)

On days when performances are scheduled, the Box Office will open until the start of the performance. If there is a show scheduled on Sunday or during public holidays, the Box Office will be open for 2 hours prior to the performance.

*Easter Weekend Opening hours:

Friday 29th March – 3 to 6.30pm (then open for the 7.30pm and 8pm shows)
Monday 1st April – CLOSED ALL DAY

Box Office Sales

We accept all major credit and debit cards, except American Express. A Card Handling Fee of 50p for 1 ticket or £1 for 2 or more tickets applies for all card transactions.

Collection

We do not post tickets. You can collect the tickets any time from the time of booking, up until the night of the show. Please bring the card you paid with for identification.

Online Sales

You can now also book tickets online.  Just Click the “book online” button underneath the pricing information on a production’s listing page.  Please note that a booking fee of £2.50 applies to all online sales.

Refunds

Please note we do not offer refunds.

Exchanges

We can exchange tickets for other performances of the same production (subject to availability) if 48 hours notice is given. A £1 Administration Fee will apply for exchanges.

Prices

Ticket prices vary for different performances and can be found in What’s On.

Concessions

Concessions are available for most performances and prices can be found in ‘What’s On’. Concessionary tickets are available for under 16’s, full time students, benefit claimants, registered disabled, over 60’s and Equity members. Valid Student ID will be required upon collection.

Reservations

Tickets can be reserved for a maximum of 48 hours – full payment is then required. If we do not hear from you by the 48 hour deadline tickets will be released back to public sale. We cannot reserve tickets to be paid on the door on the performance night. Full payment must be received at least 2 hours before the start of a show.

External Venues

If you are buying tickets for shows in a venue other than Tobacco Factory Theatre or The Brewery Theatre, your tickets can be collected either for the TF Box Office beforehand, or at the venue on the day of the performance. Please bring the card and the confirmation email to collect.

Groups

For certain shows, for every ten tickets bought by a school or group, the eleventh is free. Other group discounts may apply. NB This offer is not available online. Please ask the Box Office for further details.
